Background
NYPAD is produced and maintained by the New York Natural Heritage Program (NYNHP) with funding from NYS DEC. NYNHP works to facilitate the conservation of New York's biodiversity since 1985 by providing comprehensive information and scientific expertise on rare species and natural ecosystems to resource managers and other conservation partners. NYNHP is a partnership between State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and New York State Department Environmental Conservation.
